Two hyperspectral satellites, developed by China's STAR.VISION with partners in Uzbekistan and Indonesia, were launched on Wednesday from Haiyang, Shandong Province, aboard a Smart Dragon-3 (SD-3) rocket. Named Samarkand-2028 and Lampung-1, the satellites combine hyperspectral imaging with onboard edge AI. They will monitor water quality, vegetation, crops, and mineral resources. Samarkand-2028 will support Uzbekistan's cotton industry, while Lampung-1 will focus on crop management for food security in Indonesia. #ChinaSpaceMission #FrontlineStory 📺 Subscribe to our YouTube channel and stay updated with our latest analysis and interviews:👇 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgrNz-aDmcr2uuto8_DL2jg 👈 Download our APP on Apple Store (iOS): https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cctvnews-app/id922456579?l=zh&ls=1&mt=8 Download our APP on Google Play (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imib.cctv For more: https://www.cgtn.com/video Most watched videos: Impossible
