Abdul El-Sayed is projected to win Michigan’s Democratic primary after a closely contested race with Haley Stevens, with votes still being counted. Supporters waited for hours in Detroit as the result remained too close to call, but neither candidate conceded. El-Sayed led by about 3% with around 75% of ballots counted, while both candidates addressed their supporters. Al Jazeera’s Kristen Saloomey reports from Detroit, Michigan.
