The CDC now confirms more than 10,000 cases of cyclospora infections across 47 states. It comes as health officials in Minnesota are now investigating a wave of salmonella, with a vast majority of patients having recently eaten jalapeño peppers at Chipotle and other Mexican style restaurants. Chipotle says they “proactively removed” the jalapeños in question and “replaced them” with products from different growers.
