Children in an Oxfordshire village have sent letters and video messages to Andy Burnham, pleading with him to keep them safe from the 1,250 asylum seekers set to be housed nearby. Speaking to GB News' Jack Carson, this young family expressed their fears for the future, saying: "We'd be so outnumbered." A government spokesperson said: “The concerns of communities are central to our immigration reforms which is why we are working with local authorities and others to make the system fairer by housing asylum seekers in basic accommodation, including ex-military sites. Five military sites are either in use or being explored. “We have already seen results. The population of asylum seekers in hotels has fallen by 35% in the last year and by 63% from the peak of 56,000 in 2023. Overall asylum costs have already fallen by nearly £1 billion since the general election.” #Oxfordshire #MigrantCrisis #Asylum #uknews #GBNews Keep up to date with GB News at gbnews.com or on X @GBNEWS Become a F
