Iran says it has agreed with Oman on a route for ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, with arrangements to jointly manage the strategic waterway being finalised. Foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said the two countries have reached an understanding on shipping routes and are working on further details.
