ITV News spoke to Rohan, not his real name, who was trafficked to Myanmar's giant scamming compounds to trick people online. Criminals are generating around 60 million pounds annually from the scams being produced on these sites. The Myanmar government has pledged to crack down on this illegal industry. On July 28th, the country's parliament approved a law authorising the death sentence for those who have scammed victims. #forcedscamming #thailand #myanmar • Subscribe to ITV News on YouTube: http://bit.ly/2lOHmNj • Get breaking news and more stories at http://www.itv.com/news Follow ITV News on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@itvnews?lang=en Follow ITV News on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/itvnews/ Follow ITV News on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/itvnews/ Follow ITV News on X: https://twitter.com/itvnews
