Journalist and choir leader Janet Murray has defended new guidance on single-sex spaces following the Supreme Court’s ruling on the definition of sex in equality law. Speaking to Mark Dolan, Janet argued that women need separate toilets, changing rooms and other facilities for privacy, dignity and safeguarding.
