A 97-year-old woman has become the world’s oldest female wing walker, breaking her own Guinness World Record that she set four years ago. Betty Bromage from Cheltenham carried out the “amazing” feat while raising funds for the stroke unit at Cheltenham General Hospital, where staff cared for her when she was seriously ill in 2025. “At 97, what have you got to be afraid of?” she said, after telling Kate Garraway and Adil Ray that she felt “fine” a day after she broke her record. After saying the word "can't" isn't in her vocabulary, she added, “‘if I’m still here in a couple of years time, I might give it another go”.
