Former Blue Peter presenter Peter Duncan, who revealed he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2019, says he was “lucky” to receive focal therapy. The treatment destroys only the cancerous part of the prostate, providing minimal side effects, while delivering long-term outcomes for cancer patients. The 72-year-old actor and broadcaster has called for greater access to the treatment and urged more men to get tested for what is the most commonly diagnosed cancer across the UK.
