As a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), Tara explores the unique perspective of living in two worlds - the Deaf community, and the hearing community. Her talk breaks down barriers of fear, encourages curiosity and communication, and reshapes societal perceptions of disability and human nature. Tara has lived her whole life bridging two worlds as a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA). An advocate, educator, & entrepreneur, she is the founder of Tiny Hands Signs, a program bringing Auslan into early learning and now expanding into corporate workplaces to foster inclusive communication. Children’s book author about her lived experience. Tara combines creativity and advocacy to inspire connection across communities. With empathy, vision, and lived experience, she is passionate about reshaping how society understands language, culture, and inclusion.
