Why doesn't Failure translate into action? We've all been told that failure is the greatest teacher. But if that's true, why do so many of us keep repeating the same mistakes? Through the story of a student caught in the cycle of trying, failing, and starting over, this talk challenges one of our most common beliefs about growth. Blending psychology with personal experiences, it explores why failure alone doesn't create change, why our brains often pull us back into old habits, and how reducing unnecessary decisions can help turn intention into action. Ultimately, it invites the audience to see failure not as an automatic teacher, but as an opportunity that only becomes growth through consistent action.
