The Director of Criminal Investigations, Mohamed Amin, says two police officers are suspected of involvement in the murder of Dr. Victoria Mutiso near Raila Odinga Highway. The DCI has identified Inspector Kenneth Kipkemboi Sang, the Officer Commanding Nderi Police Post under Kikuyu Police Station, as a key suspect in the murder. Speaking at the DCI headquarters, Mohamed Amin said Sang allegedly linked the financiers to the execution team, supplied the murder weapon and is currently on the run. Police Constable Elijah Kibelion Kimoi, attached to Karinde Police Post under Kikuyu Police Station, has also been arrested and has been identified as the officer who fatally shot Dr. Mutiso. According to the DCI, investigations have established that Rose Mbinde Mulwa and her son, Christopher Mulwa, were the alleged principal organisers and financiers of the conspiracy to murder Dr. Victoria Mutiso.
