Academy Award-nominated actor Willem Dafoe joins Morning Joe to discuss his latest film “Late Fame,” in theaters now. Dafoe plays Ed Saxberger, a forgotten New York poet working in a post office until a young fan attempts to revitalize his work. Dafoe tells Morning Joe his character “came to New York basically at the same time I did,” and, like his character, he experienced New York’s downtown arts scene — a culture that’s since disappeared.
