In today's Daily Fix: GTA 6 publisher Take-Two has defended the move to launch the game digital-only. CEO Strauss Zelnick, however, did not rule out the possibility of a physical release in the future, but for now it just make more sense to release the game digitally, especially considering consumer buying habits. In related news, Nintendo reports that nearly 40% of their software sales are physical, proving yet again that the company and their die-hard fans go against the grain compared to the rest of the gaming industry. And finally, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has set a new domestic box office record, crossing $500 million in U.S. ticket sales in one week. The previous record-holder is Avengers: Endgame, which still holds the record for fastest to $1 billion ticket sales globally. #IGN #Gaming #GTA6
