A Ukrainian military train reportedly bound for the frontline was targeted in a two-stage Russian strike in Ukraine’s Dnipro region, according to Russia’s Defence Ministry. Russian officials said a Geran drone first struck and immobilized the locomotive before an Iskander missile was used to destroy the train. Footage released by the Russian Defence Ministry purportedly shows the reported drone and missile strikes on the railway target. The claims could not be independently verified. The reported attack comes as Russia continues its campaign against Ukrainian military logistics and infrastructure. Earlier this week, Ukrainian authorities said a major Russian aerial barrage killed at least 17 people and injured 44 others around Kyiv.
