Typhoon Dolphin unleashes torrential rain over Shanghai

Typhoon Dolphin made landfall on China's east coast Sunday evening after bringing torrential rain to Shanghai earlier in the day. The downpour prompted the city's first red rainstorm alert in 13 years. By afternoon, widespread flooding was reported across parts of the city as emergency responders worked to clear accumulated water and drain inundated areas. Typhoon Dolphin is the fourth typhoon to make landfall in China this year.
