An ancient Roman shipwreck, with hundreds of amphorae, has been discovered around three miles off the coast of Mazara del Vallo, in Sicily, Italy’s heritage police said. The Carabinieri’s Cultural Heritage Protection Unit explored the underwater discovery with the help of scuba divers and underwater cameras.
