Israel has formally rejected a 15-point Gaza peace plan championed by its closest ally, the United States. The plan called for Hamas to disarm and for Israeli forces to withdraw from Gaza in stages. But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says there will be no Israeli pull-out until Hamas is fully disarmed. The decision threatens to prolong the suffering of more than two million Palestinians in Gaza and further complicate efforts to end the war. Al Jazeera’s Nour Odeh reports.
