F-16 fighter jets were scrambled near Donald Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, after multiple general aviation aircraft violated temporary flight restrictions. NORAD said at least three civilian aircraft triggered alerts on Sunday as Trump spent the weekend at his golf club, where the LIV Golf New York tournament was being held. Two aircraft were intercepted and safely escorted out of the restricted airspace by NORAD F-16s. A third aircraft also triggered an alert as Trump was preparing to depart, briefly delaying his departure by around 13 minutes.
