Typhoon Dolphin made landfall on Sunday along the coastal areas of Taizhou and Wenzhou in east China's Zhejiang Province, lashing the region with torrential rain and gale-force winds that disrupted transportation and threatened critical infrastructure. At the peak of the storm, Yuhuan Power Plant in Zhejiang was pummeled by fierce squalls and blinding downpours. The plant remains unaffected and its power generating units are operating smoothly. While Zhejiang bore the brunt of the landfall, Shanghai was hammered by the typhoon's outer bands, triggering widespread urban flooding that swamped more than 100 road sections across the city. Stalled vehicles and disrupted traffic prompted authorities to mobilize rescue teams across the city. The typhoon, the 13th of the year, has prompted authorities in many cities to remain on high alert as the storm moves inland. #worldnow #typhoon 📺 Subscribe to our YouTube channel and stay updated with our latest analysis and interviews:👇 https://w
