A 10-year-old girl has been hailed a little hero for helping save a stranded humpback whale on Queensland’s Fraser Coast. Scarlet and her mum Chantelle found the whale stuck on the sand at Wathumba Creek, with Scarlet jumping into the water to splash it and help keep it cool until the tide came in. The whale was one of three reported in distress along the Queensland coast yesterday.
