An Indian student accused of murdering his girlfriend in Arizona has been arrested in Germany while travelling toward India. Twenty-year-old Varun Batchigari faces first-degree murder and kidnapping charges over the death of 19-year-old Julissa Rubi Salazar in Tucson. Investigators allege he took her phone and credit cards and sent messages pretending to be her. A welfare check led police to her body.
