The latest violence is threatening to pull Yemen back into full-scale conflict. Iran-backed Houthi rebels carried out deadly attacks in Yemen's Red Sea port city of Mokha, targeting what they described as Saudi enemy forces and equipment. Medical sources said at least 11 people were killed and 32 were wounded. The Houthis also claimed responsibility for a strike on an Aramco refinery in Saudi Arabia's Jizan, while Riyadh did not comment on the claim. Yemen's military has since launched attacks against the Houthis as the long-running truce comes under strain. The escalation is unfolding alongside Iran's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, adding another front to the wider West Asia conflict.
