Malaysia has seized a container at the Port of Tanjung Pelepas in Johor suspected of carrying merchandise intended for export to Israel, in a move that could further tighten pressure on Israeli trade routes. According to report, Malaysian authorities said preliminary checks indicated the shipment may violate customs regulations prohibiting direct or indirect exports to Israel.
