Eight injured in firing along Assam-Arunachal border over land dispute

At least eight people were injured after unidentified miscreants allegedly opened fire on residents of Assam in Dhemaji district along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border. Police said the firing at Mingmang Basti followed a dispute over alleged encroachment on Assam land by people from Arunachal Pradesh. Seven of the injured were later referred to Dhemaji Civil Hospital in critical condition. Security has been stepped up in the border area. Thank you for watching our video!
