Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has clarified the future of charges on UPI transactions amid concerns over a possible Merchant Discount Rate (MDR). Any future MDR, if introduced, would apply only to select merchant transactions and is expected to be nominal. So, will UPI remain free for ordinary users in the future, and who could eventually have to pay MDR? Here’s what the government has clarified. #UPI #UPICharges #NirmalaSitharaman #MDR #DigitalPayments #UPINews #FinanceMinistry #NDTVProfit For more videos subscribe to our channel: https://www.youtube.com/@NDTVProfitIndia Visit NDTV Profit for more news: https://www.ndtvprofit.com/ Don't enter the stock market unaware.
