Linda Mwananchi leaders demand security for Homa Bay rally

Politicians allied to the Linda Mwananchi movement in Bungoma County are calling on Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja to provide adequate security during their upcoming political rally in Homa Bay this weekend. Speaking to journalists in Bumula, Bungoma County, the leaders, led by Bumula MP Jack Wamboka and his Kabuchai counterpart Majimbo Kalasinga, said their safety must be guaranteed during the meeting. The politicians have also challenged the Registrar of Political Parties to formally register Linda Mwananchi as a political party. They warned that they will camp outside the Registrar’s offices, including spending days there, until their demands are addressed.
