Three suspects linked to the alleged assassination of Dr. Victoria Mutiso will remain in police custody for 30 days to allow investigators to conclude their probe. The suspects are Police Constable Elijah Kimoi, Daniel Mwangi and Kevin Kinuthia. Investigating Officer Romana Oduor told the court that Kimoi is believed to be the man who fired the fatal shot. Mwangi is alleged to have been the driver of a Prado that was used to block the taxi in which Dr. Mutiso was travelling. Police allege that Kinuthia, a motorcycle operator, ferried Kimoi to the scene and later helped him escape after the shooting. The prosecution told the court that investigations are also ongoing to trace two other key suspects, Inspector Kenneth Sang and Police Constable Bett Kiplangat, who are alleged to have been involved in planning and executing the murder. The three suspects did not oppose the application for their continued detention and will be held at Ruaraka, Pangani and Gigiri police stations respec
