The Matan family of the Degodia clan has endorsed Wajir gubernatorial aspirant Yahya Mohammed Dahiye ahead of the 2027 General Election. Speaking after the endorsement, Dahiye thanked the family for its support and called for mass voter registration, saying a strong voter base would strengthen Wajir’s political voice and influence in national decision-making.
