Three British men convicted of conspiracy to murder over their involvement in the 2006 transatlantic liquid-bomb plot are due before the Parole Board this autumn after serving their 20-year minimum terms. Waheed Zaman’s hearing is listed for 7 September, Arafat Waheed Khan’s for 21 September and Ibrahim Savant’s for 12 November. The al-Qaeda-inspired conspiracy involved plans to conceal liquid explosives in drinks bottles aboard flights to North America and led to major airport disruption and lasting restrictions on liquids in hand luggage. Ian Collins speaks with The Sun’s Creative Social News Editor Ricky Freelove. #news #islam #crimenews #terror #aviation #prison Have you got a story?
