On this episode of Stock Movers: - Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) shares rise. Morgan Stanley analyst Erik Woodring raised the recommendation on Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. to overweight from equal-weight. Investors who followed Woodring's recommendation received a 5.2% return in the past year, compared with a 166% return on the shares. - Intel (INTC) shares drop. Intel said it will be offering $15 billion in common stock, taking advantage of renewed interest in its business prospects during the artificial intelligence data center boom. The money will be used for general corporate purposes, Intel said in a statement on Monday. - Barrick Mining (B) shares drop. Investors were disappointed by the value of a deal with Newmont Corp. for a stake in a Nevada gold project. Newmont will pay Barrick $1.95 billion as the companies contribute previously excluded properties to the venture, including Barrick's Fourmile project.
