When a tall girl invites a short guy (me) on a date, all you can do is cross your fingers that she doesn't take you to the beach to play volleyball. Don't get me wrong I do love a good competition, but for me volleyball isn't a sport... it's public display of my vertical limitations. Spike the ball? I can barely see over the tape. And don't get me started on pool volleyball... the "shallow end" is a survival test for me.
