A recent CNN poll found that 92% of adults with children under the age of 18 said that childcare is expensive. Those feelings also extend to an often-forgotten part of the childcare equation: the providers. As many Americans are evaluating what will influence their vote leading up to November, CNN Anchor and Chief Investigative Correspondent Pam Brown spoke with childcare providers in Maryland to better understand how national economic strain is trickling down to their operational costs to meet kids’ needs.
