Torchlight descent lights up glacier in the southernmost city in the world

The night sky above the southernmost city in the world lit up on Saturday night as more than 120 skiers descended the slopes of the Martial Glacier for the 31st edition of the iconic Torchlight Descent. Hundreds of people watched the descent from the base of the mountain and cheered on the arriving skiers before joining in the traditional festivities.
