Former Metropolitan Police detective Peter Bleksley has delivered a scathing assessment of the initial police response to an alleged incendiary attack at Nigel Farage’s home. Speaking to Kevin O’Sullivan, Peter questioned why the incident was reportedly treated as an attempted burglary before the investigation was reopened.  Counter-terrorism officers are now examining the case, while the conduct of the initial attending officer has reportedly been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. Bleksley also criticised the handling of convicted murderer and sex offender Simon Levy, arguing that serious investigative failures can have devastating consequences. He said: “It’s performative. It’s just drivel.” Have you got a story?
