At least 111 people are reported killed in Colombia's 7.4-magnitude earthquake, which was felt in three neighboring countries. Reporters Evelyn Schreiber and Felipe Abondano tell what it was like to experience the unusually long quake in the cities of Cali and Bogota. Professor of natural hazards Robert Weiss tells DW's David Levitz how the depth of the quake, more than 100km underground, could have impacted its impact. Colombia's earthquake comes just days after the country's new president, Abelardo de la Espriella, was signed into office — and just six weeks after more than 6,000 people were killed by twin quakes in neighboring Venezuela.
