Russia's Supreme Court has excluded the liberal Yabloko party from September's parliamentary election. Yabloko is the country's only registered party that openly opposes the war in Ukraine. The party says the allegations against it are politically motivated and has vowed to appeal. Critics argue the decision further narrows the already limited space for political dissent in Russia.
