As the price of everything rises, millennials are looking to their parents for help. Although a majority of parents in America help their children financially in some capacity, there is a contingent of boomers who insist their children pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Charlotte Cowles, a financial columnist for The Cut, spoke to some of these millennials and their boomer parents about why the kids want the money now and why their parents want to wait.
