Spiked Online Editor Tom Slater claims there is a “clear sense of historical weight” to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor being arrested. “It’s already been seismic that we’ve seen a member of the Royal Family arrested for the first time since the 1700s,” Mr Slater told Sky News host Caleb Bond. “He was arrested yesterday by police officers who swear allegiance to the crown.”
