Can a home cook beat a professional chef at Korean Fried Chicken? In this challenge, Chef Kush and Home Cook Jamie are both given the exact same ingredients to cook one of the most addictive takeaway dishes: Korean Fried Chicken. There’s just one twist… The kitchen is split in half so they can’t see what the other is doing. On one side, Chef Kush uses professional techniques, experience and chef shortcuts to create perfectly crispy, sticky Korean fried chicken with a balanced glaze. On the other side, Home Cook Jamie has to figure it out from scratch, working out how to get the chicken crispy, how to build the sauce, and how to bring everything together under pressure. Two cooks. Same ingredients. Same Korean Fried Chicken. But the results… might be very different. At the end, the wall comes down and both versions are revealed for the first time.
