The mother of PC Andrew Harper says she is "hopeful" his killers will remain behind bars - but says she has to be "careful with how much hope I have". Speaking to Mark Austin, Debbie Adlam said she would lose faith in Andy Burnham if Albert Bowers and Jessie Cole were freed early. PC Harper was killed by the pair during a burglary in 2019. They are set to be released early under government plans to free up space in prisons.
