US President Donald Trump said he would “love to run” again when asked about a potential third term. Trump followed up by saying "the law is very strong”, referring to the constitutional amendment that states "no person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice". Despite the law, Trump has previously suggested and joked that he would run in the 2028 presidential election, even selling Trump 2028 merchandise.
