The Digital Health Agency has defended the two per cent service charge deducted from claims processed through the Social Health Authority, SHA, insisting the fee is a legitimate charge for services offered to healthcare facilities. Digital Health Agency CEO Eng. Anthony Lenaiyara has dismissed claims that the money is paid to a private entity, saying the surcharge supports the digital processing of healthcare claims.
