Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected President Donald Trump's new Gaza peace plan, in yet another public break with the White House. Netanyahu on Monday said Israeli forces won’t withdraw from the territory until Hamas is "genuinely disarmed." Despite the impasse, operations continued in southern Israel to build a base for international peacekeepers, if and when they are deployed to Gaza.
