Britain’s new Prime Minister Andy Burnham recently apologized for the Labour Party’s initial stance on Gaza. Palestinian legal scholar Shahd Hammouri says the tepid apology, nearly three years into Israel’s assault on Gaza, is not enough. Hammouri is one of the co-authors of “The Gaza Tribunal: Britain’s Complicity in Genocide,” which revisits an independent, non-governmental inquiry into the United Kingdom’s complicity in the Israeli genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, held nearly one year ago today.
