The 19th and final day of the Monsoon Session in New Delhi remained marked by political confrontation as the Lok Sabha took up the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) Amendment Bill. The legislation was referred to a Joint Parliamentary Committee amid Opposition protests and accusations that the proposed changes could affect civil society organisations. The previous day had also seen a sharp exchange between Home Minister Amit Shah and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi over a proposed discussion on student protests. The session was scheduled to conclude on August 13 after 19 sittings. #LokSabha #MonsoonSession #Parliament #FCRA #AmitShah #RahulGandhi #Opposition #IndianParliament #NewDelhi #ParliamentNews Thank you for watching our video!
