The Centre for Women's justice is calling for the Met Police to be disbanded and believes that the criminal justice system is in a state of collapse after a number of failings. On Wednesday serial sex attacker Simon Levy was given a rare whole-life prison sentence for murdering two women and raping a third after being left free to kill amid a string of blunders. The mother of murdered student Libby Squire has branded missed chances to stop Levy “a catalogue of disasters”. Lisa says she recognises the same pattern of behaviour from the man who raped and killed Libby in 2019 and is calling for a sit-down with Prime Minister Andy Burnham.
