Every color, image, font, package, and logo tells us something. But what if design does more than communicate an idea? What if it shapes what we believe, what we desire, and even what we choose? In this thought-provoking talk, Khushika Pahwa, Founder and Brand Director of Fond of Designs Studio, explores the hidden influence of design in the world around us. Drawing from her experience building brands and working with D2C businesses, she challenges the idea that design is simply about making things look good. From the brands we trust to the products we choose and the identities we associate with, design quietly constructs narratives and influences perception. Khushika examines how visual language can become a form of persuasion, turning values into symbols and ideas into experiences. But propaganda isn't always manipulation. It can also be intentional storytelling: a way for brands, creators, and communities to communicate what they stand for and shape how they are understood. Desi
