Duskfade is a 3D action platformer indie game, inspired by PlayStation classics like Jak and Daxter, Ratchet & Clank and Kingdom Hearts, and after spending around 15 hours with it, I couldn't stop thinking about why games like this disappeared. Because Duskfade doesn't just imitate the PS2 era, it brings back the charm, curiosity and simple sense of adventure that made so many of us fall in love with games in the first place. That makes the story around Duskfade strangely ironic. Because while this indie game has been dragged into the backlash surrounding Sony PlayStation's physical game decision, what stuck with me was something much bigger: why colourful, focused games like this became so rare, why AAA abandoned them, and how Duskfade reminded me that sometimes games don't need to consume your life... they just need to be fun. 🎁 GIVEAWAY: I’m giving away a copy of Duskfade!
