India’s e-commerce boom is also seeing a surge in consumer complaints. Flipkart, Amazon and Meesho recorded the highest number of grievances in 2025, with non-delivery, refunds, wrong products and damaged goods among the biggest issues. The National Consumer Helpline facilitated over ₹63 crore in e-commerce refunds, while 47 platforms faced penalties from the consumer watchdog.
